Our fishing experts volunteer their time to assess our fishery & stocking needs….

FLL funded the planting of more than 2,200 White Suckers in late October from the Dodgeville fish hatchery. The fish delivered were 6-9”, which was larger than anticipated - this should work great in that the larger suckers will breed better, providing a renewable source of minnows for the panfish.

The goal is to maintain an optimal environmental balance of predator & forage fish - providing healthy numbers of all our fish species.  Stocking fish prices continue to increase dramatically, so it’s very important to replenish & build our fish fund as much as possible.
